Ray Smith

Ray E. Smith Jr., age 48, of Hastings, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 surrounded by family. The son of Ray E. Smith Sr. & Nancy (Baker) Randolph, he was born on March 1, 1968 in Midland. Surviving are his, mother; sister, Susan (Roger) Smith-Drayton; brothers, William (Joy) Smith, Steven (Ann) Smith, Jamie Randolph, and Todd Randolph. Ray had extended family that helped care for him over the last 31 years. Ray's second mother Ester, her daughter Marian and granddaughter Olive. Over the last 30 years or so he has had a consistent companion and dear friend and brother in Christ, Felix Kullik. Ray is also survived by his furry baby Solo. A memorial service will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Alma Elks Lodge #1400, 610 W. Warwick, Alma. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
