September 1, 1953 — August 10, 2006

Mr. Randy Lee Hall, age 52, of Comstock Park, formerly of Greenville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006 at Metro Health Hospital, Grand Rapids. The son of Cleo A. & Blanche B. (Johnston) Hall, he was born on Sept. 1, 1953 in Sheridan. Although born with Downs Syndrome, Randy never let his disability stand in his way and enjoyed being out in the community everyday. He found great pleasure in visiting museums and Meijer Gardens, watching television, listening to country music, and attending the Shrine Circus. His two favorite places to visit were McDonalds and Meijers. In 1996, he was featured on WOOD TV-8s Positively Michigan with Warren Reynolds for his plaster bunny rabbit collection. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo A. Hall on Oct. 2, 1982; his mother, Blanche B. Hall on Dec. 8, 1999; and a brother-in-law, Norman Rydahl on April 27, 2004. Surviving are four sisters, Debbie Hall of Comstock Park, Diane & Cecil Moffatt of Greenville, Jeanette & Orval Cooper of Evart, and Sylvia Rydahl of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, Greenville. Visitation is also on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. Burial will take place privately at East Montcalm Cemetery.
