Randall Lee Huffman, age 59, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, Dec. 25, 2015 at home surrounded by family. The son of Herbert & Jacqueline (St. Lawrence) Huffman he was born on Dec. 12, 1956 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974-77 and after returning home he worked in the family bakery business for 16 years and in his spare time enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Kevin Huffman; and brother-in-law, Joe Fifelski.
Surviving are his mother, Jacqueline Huffman; children, Randall (Aimee) Huffman Jr., Starlett (Ron) Twining, Charity Hughes, and Luke Huffman; grandchildren, Bethany, Grace, Jack, Wyatt, Madalynn, Louella, Patrick, Saphire, and Sophia, and Chole; brothers, Jeffery (Donna) Huffman, Alan Huffman, and Patrick (Sue) Huffman; sisters, Carol (Duane) Dykhouse and Kristine Fifelski; his dog and best buddy, Brutus; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9th at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1630 Godfrey Ave. S.W., Wyoming, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial, with military honors, will take place privately at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Name of Jesus Parish or Heartland Hospice.
