Phyllis Palmas

Phyllis Darlean (Bertram) Palmas, age 60, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Holland, MI went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born on March 19, 1959, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Fredrick and Pearl (Markle) Bertram. Phyllis had a strong work ethic and worked at Quincy Street Meats for fifteen years. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Veronica Perez and Pearl "Noonie" (Kevin) Burch; son, Castulo Gonzalez Perez; good friend, Sally Martinez; special niece, Melissa Goudy; 9 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Gloria Jean Bertram, Pearl (Bill) Banick, Phyllis's twin, Rosetta Bertram, and Rachel Cooper; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Genaro Gonzalez Perez; brothers, Anthony Bertram and Fredrick Bertram; sister, Nina McCrae; and nephew, Joe McCrae. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
