Philip Hausman

Rev. Philip D. Hausman, age 69, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home. The son of the Rev. Clarence P. & Esther (Mason) Hausman, he was born on October 7, 1943 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Navy, he then attended Hobe Sound Bible College. Pastor Hausman served a number of churches in the Bible Covenant and Nazarene faith communities over the years. On Dec. 8, 1962, in Weaversville, Pennsylvania, he married Shirley Darlene Fehr, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Gail & Greg Thebo of Trufant, Kim & Barry Lathrop of Stuart, Florida, Barry & Tina Hausman of Parksburg, Pennsylvania, and Philip Hausman, Jr. of Allentown, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; a sister, Faith Shook of Florida; two brothers, Tim & Marcia Hausman of Indiana, and Paul & Shirley Hausman of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
