Pauline Weber

November 20, 1928 — February 12, 2024

Mrs. Pauline Leopolda Weber, age 95, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, 12 February 2024. Pauline was a 1947 graduate of Northern High School in Flint, Michigan and received her Associate’s Degree in business and Spanish from Flint Junior College. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Weber of 68 years. She was an avid reader, a COMPETITIVE card player (pinochle, bridge, whatever was on the table), enjoyed any type of dancing, taking classes with dad in ballroom and square dancing, and there was always time for a polka. Mom and dad loved music, especially those great old Big Bands. She cherished her time at Higgins Lake and any time spent with family or in her gardens. She doted on her children/grandchildren, teaching them the importance of following and caring about current events, politics, and helping our neighbors/community. She loved Michigan sports. For many years, she and dad had season football tickets. After cheering her Michigan Wolverines to a National Championship this year (GO BLUE), we knew she could die a happy woman. Pauline loved well; her husband, her family, her friends and many loved ones greeted her in heaven. Pauline will be dearly remembered by her children Susan Weber, Nancy (Allan) Bornstein, Mary (Tom) Behm; grandchildren Aaron (Erica) Bornstein, Sam (Emily) Bornstein, Steve (Madison) Behm, Morgan (Adam) Grinwis, and Mike (Savannah) Behm; eight great grandchildren, sisters Adeline Ryznar and Joan McCloskey; sister-in-law, Betty Weber; as well as cousins, nieces/nephews and their families. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, on Saturday, 24 February 2024 at 11:00 a.m, immediately followed by a luncheon at the church. The mass will be livestreamed by Holy Spirit Parish and the link can be found on their website, https://www.facebook.com/holyspiritparishgr/ In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Pauline’s name to the Higgins Lake Foundation, P.O.
