Paula Borr

August 28, 1959 — September 8, 2021

Paula Sue Borr passed away suddenly on September 8,, 2021 of an embolism, in her home at the age of 62. Paula was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and graduated from Battle Creek Central. She then attended Grand Valley State in Grand Rapids and lived her adult life in Grand Rapids. Paula retired from Bimbo Bakery in 2020 and moved to Jenison. As a child, she spent summers with her family in Saugatuck. Paula traveled extensively. Some of her favorite places were Hawaii, France, San Antonio, and Mackinaw Island. Paula loved cats and enjoyed her many decorative cat figurines and collectables. She also collected Gone with the Wind memorabilia. Paula had much interest in the Titanic, and a great knowledge of American Civil War History. She traveled to Gettysburg many times. She had a crazy knack for dates and never forgot a loved ones birthday. Paula was the baby of her family; her father, Robert Borr always called her Precious Darling. He preceded her in death with mother, Charlotte Borr, and her sister, Jane Ogawa. Paula is survived by her sister, Melisa McCue (Russ), her brother, Robert Borr (Cindy) nephews: Mathew, Jeffrey, Michael, Kevin, Robert, Eric, Isaac and dearest childhood friend Kelly. Paula loved Michigan, and cared about her community.
