Paul Ringler

November 30, 1964 — June 26, 2022

Paul Alan Ringler, age 57, of Cedar Springs, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 26, 2022, due to an unforeseen accident. Paul worked all his life in the Tool and Die trade. Paul loved his work family at Datum Industries. Paul was a 1983 graduate of Tri-County High School. He was Nick named "Mad Dog Ringler" during his football days; he took 2nd in the state for wrestling his senior year of high school. Paul's greatest achievement in his life was his 4 children. He was a family man and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Paul volunteered coaching youth wrestling for many years prior to his own children. He was in his element coaching football and wrestling. He had a big heart for children. He absolutely adored coaching his sons and developing their love of athletics. He was always thinking of what enjoyment he could bring to his kids lives with building go-karts, installing a family swimming pool, building a tree house, setting his boat up for carp shooting and rebuilding a sea doo for the family enjoyment. Paul's unfulfilled dream was a conservation officer, as Paul knew so much about animals and was an outdoorsman. He ran a part time taxidermy business for years out of his home. Paul was bravely battling Parkinson's in his last several years. Paul is survived by his wife of 34 years Jane; his 4 children, Hannah (Joe) Eberle, Jordan (fiance Madelyn) Ringler, Ryan Ringler and Grace Ringler; granddaughter, Evelyn Eberle; parents, Carol Rowe from Newaygo and Ron (Pam) Ringler of Cedar Springs; beloved canine daughters, Bella and Betty; sisters, Christine (John) Sweeney from White Cloud, Debra (Tim) Prins from Newaygo, Sue (Joe) Molyneux from Coopersville, Colleen (Kent) Bennink from Howard City, Kelly (Scott) Sanders from Texas, Holly Cooper from Texas, Ronda (Rick) Tanis from Pierson. Paul was survived by one brother, Bill (Betsy) Ringler from Texas; step-father, Terry (Judy) Gage from Cedar Springs. Paul was succeeded in death by one brother, Terrance Gage. Paul is survived by sisters-in-law, Sandra Patin from Sand Lake, Kristi (Carl) Haywood from Six Lakes, Kelly Slagel from Rockford, and Mary Flachs from Rockford. Paul is survived by brothers-in-law, Dan (Kathy) Flachs & Gary (Debra) Flachs. And several nieces and nephews. Paul was succeeded in death by brother-in-laws, Steven Flachs, David Slagel and Robert Patin. Services held Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Skinner Field, Cedar Springs, with a Gathering at 7:30 pm and a Memorial Lantern Walk at 8:30 pm. In regards to contributions, Paul would love the Cedar Springs youth wrestling and football programs to be considered.
