Paul Narvaiz

Paul Cardenas Narvaiz, age 82, of Grandville, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was born February 9, 1939, in Sabinal, Texas, to the late Adolfo and Maria (Cardenas) Narvaiz. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. In Paul's younger years he loved running and enjoyed hunting with his friends and family. He was a safety first type of guy and wanted to ensure those around him were protected. Above everything else, Paul loved his family and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved sharing his knowledge of how to do things with them such as repairing a car, playing the guitar ,chess, and speaking Spanish. Survivors include his two sons, Paul (Zenda) Narvaiz Jr. and Raimundo (Stephanie) Narvaiz; grandchildren, Anthony (Amy) Narvaiz, Patricia Torres, Andrew (Theresa) Torres, Courtney (Garry) Palmer, Jacob (Stephanie) Torres; Sabrina Narvaiz, Cassandra Narvaiz, Aleigha Narvaiz, and Victoria Narvaiz; great-grandchildren, Jaela Vasser, Emery Palmer, Carson Narvaiz, Rory Torres, Ezra Stott, Ricardo Torres, River Stott, and Emilia Vasser. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza Narvaiz and daughter, Celestina RiveraSmith. A private family gathering will be held and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring with details to be announced as soon as they become available. Paul's family would like to thank all of the family and friends who have reached out and have supported them during this difficult time.
