Paul Lester House, age 77, of Gowen, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 7, 2021 at home. The son of Everett Zeb & Verna A. (Hill) House, he was born on October 12, 1943 in Greenville and was a 1962 graduate of Greenville High School.
On March 28, 1964, in Greenville, he married Beverly Ann Linderman, and together they raised four children and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Paul worked at Ranney Refrigeration, retiring after twenty years, and then worked nearly 20 years in maintenance at Electrolux. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, and racing at Crystal Raceway, and he delighted in his Wednesday morning coffee with the guys and was looking forward to getting back into that now that they were all vaccinated.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly House; a daughter, Delene Cramer; a granddaughter, Kimberly McMeeken; and a sister-in-law, Carol House.
Surviving are his children, Brent House of Gowen, Kenneth House, and Leslie House, both of Cedar Springs; his grandchildren, Ronald & Mandi McMeeken, Zachary McMeeken, and Jaycinda Byrd; eight great grandchildren, Donovan, Daeleah, Stevie, Zeke, Sophia, Logan, Rylee, and Tucker; a brother, Lyle House of Cedar Springs; a sister, Virginia Lamberston of Howard City; a sister-in-law, Sharon Lockwood of New Mexico; two brothers-in-law, Earl Linderman of Grand Rapids, and James Linderman of New Mexico; and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
