Paul Hoffman

Paul Richard Hoffman was born February 17, 1935, to the late Peter and Cornelia Hoffman. He departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the age of 87. Paul was preceded in death by his former wife, Helen "Billie" Hoffman; infant granddaughter, Carly Laarman; siblings, Jean and John VanderWal, Boyd and Claudia Hoffman, Marjorie and Norm Dice, and John Hoffman; and nephew, Robert Hoffman. He will be forever loved and remembered by his children, Gwen and Brian Laarman, Paula and John Grassy, and Thomas and Doreen Hoffman; grandchildren, Patrick and Laina Laarman, Andrea and Nick Groendyk, Hilary and Thomas Consiglio, Michele Laarman, Allison Hoffman and Dalton Mainwaring, and Megan, Sarah, and Katherine Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Jay, Mira, Theodore, Archer Paul, Jackson and Nora; sister-in-law, Carole Hoffman; nieces and nephews; and faithful friend, Earl Heuer. Paul graduated with an MBA from U of M in 1959. Go Blue! He worked 30 years for VW of America and Mazda Great Lakes. Dad/Pops/Gramps cherished family time above all. He had a fondness for jazz, motorcycles, Lake Michigan and Farmer's Market produce. The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice, Beacon Hill and the welcoming town of Coopersville for their warm embrace and patience with Paul and his red walker.
