Paul Christerson

March 20, 1939 — May 24, 2021

Paul Christerson (known to many as Paul Christy) left this world on May 24, 2021. Paul was born in Chicago on March 20, 1939, to Herbert Christerson and Grace Brucker. He is survived by his companion of 42 years, and wife of 14 years, Bunny Christerson. He is also survived by two sons, Chris (Anita) Christerson and Paul Christerson; three granddaughters, Katie, Michelle, and Sarah; a grandson, Keith; and three great grandchildren. Paul is most widely known for his 30-year career as a professional wrestler. At different times, he wrestled under the names, Paul Christy, Ken Lucas, Golden Boy, and Billy Graham. He and Bunny were the first to incorporate an active female manager into their ring presentation. Paul was also a gifted hypnotist and a talented magician. Paul was loved by many, too many to mention, for his wisdom, generosity, and storytelling ability. He was able to quickly see through falsehoods and proceed directly to the heart of any issue. Paul was an avid sport fisherman. He was an accomplished athlete, but remained a frustrated golfer.
