Patrick Snyder

Patrick Lewis Snyder, age 65, of Caledonia, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born August 22, 1956, in Grand Rapids, to the late, Lewis and Mary Ann (Kolarik) Snyder. Pat will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and brother who loved his family dearly. Pat was one of a kind. Pat would be there for you when you needed him, and he always made sure he was early. Pat loved being a grandfather to his grandchildren and spending time with them. Pat loved being outdoors. An avid hunter and fishermen, Pat made sure to keep everyone's freezers stocked. As a member of the possum lodge, Pat took his devotion very seriously and made sure you would be greeted with a lodge wave. Most importantly, Pat was the proudest father to his three sons. Survivors include his three sons, Chad (Allison), Troy (Toni), and Alec (Taylor) Snyder; three grandchildren, Theo, Trace, and Takoda; four siblings, Carla DeJonge, Andy (Shawn) Snyder, Paula (Brian) Porter, and Mary (Dan Burnham) Sanderson; Mother of his children Sherri Snyder, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pat was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Kevin DeJonge. Per Pat's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place in the summer and details will be announced at a later date.
