Patrick David Michaels, age 65 of Evart, Michigan, passed away Monday evening, October 6, 2025 at home under the care of Corewell Health Hospice. The son of Leonard Frank & Mary Lou (Halm) Michaels, he was born on March 6, 1960 in Garden City, Michigan.
Patrick was a skilled carpenter having worked as a contractor for over thirty years. He enjoyed fishing and boating on Rose Lake, bowling, listening to music, hunting, was a great cook, and loved to cook for everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lynda & Robert Brant.
Surviving are his daughter, Heather (Jacob) Edwards; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Christopher, Jackson, Grace, Gianna, Gabriel, Genevieve, and Gideon; three siblings, Wayne (Sally) Michaels, Ruth Richardson, and Mary Ann (Tony) Gideon; seven special nieces & nephews, Jerry (Rhonda) Richardson, Jackie (Jessica) Richardson, Michael (Emily) Brant, Stephanie (Rob) Michaels, Steven (Nicole) Michaels, Lauren (Robert) Hahn, and Haylee (Antonio)Gideon; and his best friends and brothers at heart, Rob Morris, Neil Holmes and Ed Dudak.
