Patrick Magoon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Magoon, loving Son, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and Brother. Patrick, also known as “Pappy,” was born on December 9, 1960 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to his parents, Theodore and Faye Joyce (Loree) Magoon. Patrick had a successful career at K-N-C Flooring, where he worked tirelessly until his well-deserved retirement in 2022. However, his true passion was floating on his pontoon, enjoying the serene beauty of Michigan’s lakes with a cold beer in hand. He is survived by his three children, Amanda Stewart, Justin Stewart, and Kennley Magoon. Patrick also leaves behind three grandchildren, Kaden, Jace, and Ellie who will forever remember him for his love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. While we mourn the loss of a great man, let us also celebrate the joy and humor he brought to our lives. Rest in peace, Pappy. We know you’re up there, floating on a cloud with a beer in hand. HOORAH!! Will forever echo in our ears. One last Hoorah in celebration of Patrick will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025. More details in regards to the location and time of the celebration will be shared as soon as they become available.
