Patricia Emery

Patricia Anne (Pat) Emery, age 81, of Grandville, MI, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Vancouver, BC, Canada while on vacation. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to James and Vivian Cleland on May 17, 1942. Pat graduated from Catholic Central High School, then followed in the footsteps of her father and grandfather becoming an employee of the Michigan Bell Telephone Company as a service representative. She enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling (especially cruising), playing the piano, baking, cards, entertaining her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was an avid reader, a self-proclaimed "tennis nut," frequent supporter of the local arts community, and fond of collecting figurines. Her obsession with Elvis memorabilia inspired her to visit Graceland. Pat will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Emery, and is survived by her son, Michael (Heather) Brent; daughter, Debra Brent; sister, Helen (AJ) Walters; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Stacy) Smith and Lauren Brent; stepdaughters, Lori (Mark) Wells, Lisa (Bob) Hetrick, Stacy (Brian) Burton; and stepson, Daniel (Melissa) Emery. Private services will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Pat's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
