Patricia Dent

Patricia Ann Dent passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, with a smile on her face.

Born July 11, 1946 in Chicago, IL, graduated from the U of A with a BA in Education. She was a Reading Specialist, school teacher, played in the Green Valley Concert Band, member of Grace Lutheran Church, loved volunteering, an avid traveler. Had hobbies of painting, gardening, playing cards with friends, clay studio and swimming.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Preceded in her death by her husband of 46 years, Terry A. Dent and brother, John Lietha and Dorthy Lietha. Her children, Shawn Dent, Charlotte Dent, Joel Dent (Mandy Vidlak), Joanna Gorney ( Joe Gorney) and grandchildren, Steve Dent, Joshua Gorney, Callie Gorney and Molly Gorney.

Her funeral will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 830 N. 1st. Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719 on Saturday September 27th, at 11, Luncheon provided immediately after the service.
