July 12, 1944 — February 2, 2025

Pamela Jeane (Hulst, Marker) Frieswyk passed away peacefully Sunday February 2, 2025 after a short hospitalization for pneumonia. A lifelong Grand Rapids area resident, Pam graduated from Lee High School and retired after a lifetime of service to the Byron Center School District. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Most recently, she enjoyed driving to the beach, playing cards with friends, spending time with her family and friends, and spending time with her close friend, Jim Gray. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, George and Barbara (Stimle) Hulst, and her husband, George D. Marker. She is survived by her children; Bradley (Caroline) Frieswyk, Eric (Kristin) Frieswyk, and Tracy (Henry) Koehler; her sister Kathy (Michael) Critch; her grandchildren Ashley, Alex, Cora, Taylor, George, and Ryan; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM (short prayer service at 11:00 AM) at Daybreak Church, 3501 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI, 49426. Visitation continues Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Daybreak Church.
