Oscar M Ross

Oscar Ross, 79, of Glenn, Michigan, passed away on February 8, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1946, in Farraday, Kentucky. Oscar was a devoted husband to his wife of 54 years, Donna, and a loving father to his son Daniel and daughters Kristie, Melissa, and Crystal.

Oscar was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in everything he did. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and later continued to serve as a Drill Sergeant in the Army Reserves. Following his military service, Oscar spent 30 years driving his semi across the country. He finally achieved his lifelong dream of owning his own truck and driving for himself — a goal that brought him great pride and satisfaction. He was well‑respected in his profession for his reliability, strong work ethic, and integrity on and off the road.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Pauline, and his daughter Tammy, his brother Jessie, and his sisters Kenetha and Carrie. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; his children, Daniel, Kristie, Melissa, and Crystal; his grandchildren, Josh, Rachel, Shaina, Kent, David, Tali, Emily, Avery, Camille, Alex, Aaron, and Lily; and his great-grandchildren, Foster, Kye, and Aurora.

In his later years, Oscar found joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His kindness, dedication, and love for family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
