Olive Padgett

Olive Irene (Dobson) Padgett, age 92, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024. She was born January 12, 1932, in Traverse City, Michigan, to the late John and Pearl (Nelson) Dobson of Kingsley, MI. Olive graduated valedictorian of her Kingsley High School class. She went on to study music at Michigan State and North Texas State Universities. Olive enjoyed playing classical music and teaching piano to many students throughout the years. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and her many cats. Olive is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Dan and David. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held.
