Norman Curtiss

Norman Lee Curtiss, 76, of Caledonia, MI, passed away on April 27th, 2023, surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Known by his family and friends as Norm, he was born on May 26th, 1946 to Cecil and Lucille Curtiss in Albion, MI. In his childhood, Norm was an active child that loved to follow his older brothers around everywhere. He loved many sports but was a die-hard Michigan Football fan, avid golfer and bowler. He was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Norm. They were part of who he was, and these traits were a strength that undoubtedly helped him deal with life's challenges. Not long after high school (a week before shipping out to Vietnam) he met the woman that would become his wife, Ruth Morris. They celebrated March 29th, 2023 their 55th wedding anniversary. Norm was a self-confessed sinner that was saved by Jesus. A fact he would happily share with everyone. Norm will be greatly missed by his wife, Ruth; children, Scott Curtiss (Holly) and Stacy Ellis (Jeff); brothers, Cecil (Liz) & Gene (Ruth Ann); sister, Darlene Smith (Jim); grandchildren, Matt (Kristyn), Taylor (Kathryn), Raegen (Bryce), Dan (Annie), MacKenzie, Keaton, Haddie, great grandchildren Barrett, Beckham, and Eloise. A Celebration is being held Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Gathered on Main (101 E.
