Norma Angel

Norma Angel, age 75, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Rushel Angel; daughter, Angela Joann Angel; son-in-law, Roger See II; mother, Thelma Jean Green; father, Robert Avery Green; brother, Michael Lapo; sisters, Renee Green, Stephanie Corlew and Rachael Green. Norma is survived by her children, Shirley Ostrander; Jesse (Tara) Angel; Rushel (Tina) Angel Jr., Jeanne (Scott) VanDeVenter and Joyce See; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter; 6 honorary grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Karen) Green, Kevin (Marcia) Green; sister, Kelly (Chuck) Williams; friends that were sisters, Nancy Brant, Dar Lawrence and Brenda Craigmyle; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Norma was a kind and caring person who extended love to many individuals. She spent her life taking care of others, always putting them above herself. Norma was a caregiver by nature and was always giving of herself. She was truly an Angel on earth. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627, Linden Avenue SE, Grand Rapids. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Michigan Cremation with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
