Noel Romero

Noel Romero, 62, of Grand Rapids passed away on March 27, 2020 at home under the loving care of his family and Elara Caring Hospice. The son of Arnulfo & Elviria (Netties) Romero, he was born on September 25, 1957 in Mexico City, Mexico. Noel enjoyed grilling out and listening to his old jams, picking apples with his grandkids, and cooking for friends and family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Most of all Noel loved his family, his favorite times were spent with the ones he cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Alberto Romero. Surviving are his children, Cecilia Romero Skipp, Elizabeth Romero Olivares, Kimberly Romero, Noel Romero, Lorretta Lopez & Angel Martinez, and Michael Guiterrez, Marie & Juan Rodriguez; wife, Rose Romero and her children; 28 grandchildren; brothers, Francisco "Pancho" & Jeanna Romero and Daniel Cuevas; and many other family and friends. Private family services will be held at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids. Burial will take place privately at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, Indiana.
