Nila Robinette

April 29, 1940 — August 23, 2011

ROBINETTE - Nila F. Robinette, age 71, of Kentwood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23rd, 2011. Her husband, Claude precedes Nila in death. Nila had been diagnosed with kidney cancer in May of 2010. She leaves behind her son, Steve A. Robinette and wife, Angie of Wyoming, MI and daughter, Rhonda M. Robinette and husband, Sam Martinez of Caledonia, MI. Nila has five grandchildren, Steve Jr. and Nicole Robinette, Kaleb, Sierra and Claudia Martinez. Nila also leaves behind her mother, Lilly Beatrice Selby and her two brothers, Ronnie and Donnie Selby of Illinois and cherished best friend of 39 years, Mary Huizenga of Kentwood, MI. Nila was a Rite Aid employee in Kentwood for the past 15 years where she acquired many great friends and cherished co-workers. She will miss all of her friends greatly. Please come join us for a celebration of Nila's life that will be held at Resurrection Life Church on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow (5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418). In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Nila. Arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation Company. ROBINETTE - Nila F.
