Nicholas Veenkamp

Nicholas J. Veenkamp, age 73, of Cascade Twp., entered his heavenly home on Monday, June 19, 2017. A graduate of South High School he also attended GRCC. Nick loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed music, camping at Grand Haven, Spring Breaks in FL and bonfires in the back yard with friends and family. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Lucille (Wolfe) Veenkamp; sister, Mary Hikade; and son-in-law, John Aranowski. Nick will be lovingly remembered & missed by his wife, Sandi of 48 yrs.; children, Amy Aranowski, Aaron (Susan) Veenkamp, and Tyler Veenkamp; grandchildren, Nicholas Aranowski, Madison and Alec Veenkamp; brothers, Dan (special friend Janette) & Tim (Diane) Veenkamp; mother-in-law, Eleanor Shimmel who loved him very much; along with two special sisters-in-laws, Barb Veenkamp and Pat Nedham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m on Friday, June 23rd at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr. S.E., Ada, with visitation one hour prior and a luncheon to follow the service.
