Nancy Shumard, age 64, passed away Friday, September 30th after a two year battle with cancer.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Clason; son, Jeffrey (Amy) Mantia; step-daughters, Deidra (Joseph) Drumm, Kathy Michela, and Tiffany Shumard; grandchildren, Steven and William Mantia; and brother and sister, Jerry (Jo) Gilbert and Jill (Jeff) Dimon.
Nancy was a member of the 1995 International Champion Sweet Adeline's Quartet Weekend Edition. She was also director of several Sweet Adeline choruses in Michigan and Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 6th at 2 p.m. at the Ofield Funeral Home. The family will also be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, October 5th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ofield Funeral Home before the service on Thursday.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
