Nancy Ann Gradisher, age 86, of Greenville, passed away Friday afternoon, January 27, 2023 at home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice following a brief illness.
The daughter of Milton J. & Minnie A. (Miles) Mayo, she was born on September 19, 1936 in Muskegon. On September 18, 1965, in Muskegon, she married Frederick Joseph Gradisher, and together they enjoyed over 57 years of marriage and raised three children.
Nancy worked as paraprofessional for many years at Greenville High School, primarily with special education students, and was active in fundraising for Special Olympics and the Annual Polar Plunge event. She was also a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton & Minnie Mayo; and a son, Milton James Gradisher on August 10, 2022. Surviving are her husband, Fred Gradisher; their children, Matthew & Michelle Gradisher, and Michael & Michelle Gradisher; and four grandchildren, Christopher Haverstick, Riley & Cam Evans, McKenzie Gradisher, and Maxwell Gradisher; a sister, Judy & Larry Tindall of Grand Haven; siblings-in-law, Bruce & Julie Gradisher, Kim & Patty Gradisher, Tim Gradisher, and Denise & David Koekoe.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, Nancy would have appreciated contributions in her memory to Spectrum Health Hospice (https://give.spectrumhealth.org/hospice/donate).
