Nancy Garza

Nancy (Thompson) Garza, age 62, of Howard City, and formerly of Pharr, TX, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016. Nancy was born in Fremont, on November 17, 1953 to Walter & Rosilea (Holcomb) Thompson, and married Arnoldo Garza December 28, 1998. Nancy enjoyed spending time with family/friends, her dog JR, and taking casino trips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnoldo; parents, Walter and Rosilea; brother, Tom Thompson; and son, John Gould. Nancy is survived by her children, Jodi (Dan) Carpenter of Howard City, Missy Bolles of Hesperia, David Gould of Robstown Tx, and Casey (Jen) Gould of Big Rapids; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Brothers, Richard Thompson of Hesperia, and Harry (Onalee) Thompson of Walkerville; sisters, Bonnie (Jerry) Smith of Hesperia, Louann Thomas of Hesperia, and Cindy (Mike) Gould of Hesperia; as well as several nieces and nephews. in death by her husband, Arnoldo; parents, Walter and Rosilea; brother, Tom Thompson; and son, John Gould. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Hesperia Baptist Church, 115 Smith St., Hesperia, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest in Volney Cemetery, Walkerville MI at a later date. November 12, 2016 luncheon will follow.
