Myasia Johnson

Myasia Mya Johnson, age 15, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born November 26, 2009 to Teraca Monique Price and Christopher Johnson. Myasia was passionate about dancing and music and she loved to do hair. Survivors include her mother, Teraca Price; father, Christopher Johnson Sr.; siblings, Makayla, Mariah, Malaya, Christopher III, Emily, Christopher Jr., Chrishyla, Christayzha, and Chrishantis; many nieces and nephews; maternal grandparents, Twana and Terry Price; paternal grandparents, Raynel Johnson and Craig Rucks; maternal great-grandparents, Jurline and Mark DeGraaf; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Emma Price and Doc Ezell; and paternal great-grandparents, Ezree Hemphill, Ethel Liggins, and Calvin Rucks. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Lamb of God Church, 57 Rena Street SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49507, at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), with Rev. Lawrence C. McFall Jr. officiating. Myasia will be laid to rest at Garfield Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
