Mumtaz Sara

Mumtaz Sara, age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born on June 11, 1938 in Mosul, Iraq to Kamil Sara and Mary Malkoon. Mumtaz a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He started his own business at a young age, he owned the largest three movie theaters in Baghdad, Iraq. He attended Cannes Film Festivals and he enjoyed movies and traveling around the world. Mumtaz was so organized every item had to be in a certain place in certain order. He made a name for himself in the theater industry. He is survived by his daughter, Joy (Joe) Aboosh; grandchildren, Nancy and Michael Aboosh; his brothers, Basil Sara, Fawzi Sara, Sameer Sara, and Mowafaq Sara. Mumtaz is proceeded in death by his wife, Samera Hilwa; his parents, Kamil Sara and Mary Malkoon. Mumtaz will be always remembered and will be dearly missed.
