Mitchel Olson

Mitchel L. Olson, age 77, of Gowen, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born on August 21, 1945, in Pierson, to Leon & Laura Olson. Mitchel graduated from Lakeview High School in 1963. He was drafted in to the U.S. Army in 1964 and proudly served his country. He was honorably discharged in 1967. Mitchel married Connie on July 12, 1969. He worked for Tower and retired from Federal Mogul after 40 years of combined employment. After retirement, he ran a Alternator and small repair shop. Survivors include his wife, Connie; children, Alan (Janet) Olson, Shanon Derosha, and Shelly (Justin) Malkowski; numerous grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Kevin (Jan) Olson, Cassie (John) Simmons, Diane Olson, and Marsh (Yvonne) Olson.
