Michelle Lyn Brodock

Michelle Lyn Brodock, age 48, of Gowen, Michigan, passed away Sunday evening, August 23, 2026 under the loving care of her family and Corewell Health Hospice.

The daughter of Linda Sue (Miller) & Peter Lloyd Bostler, Sr., she was born on November 28, 1977 in Greenville, Michigan, and was a 1995 graduate of Greenville High School.

For the past 15 years, Michelle worked at Byrne Electric and enjoyed attending concerts and birdwatching, but found her greatest joy in time spent with her family… especially her grandchildren, whom she affectionally called “Nug” and “Peanut Marie”.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Borstler, Sr.; and her grandparents, Nelda & Ernest Miller, Sr., and Betty & Clarence Beemer.

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Linda & Ron Klunder of Gowen; her two sons, Tristan Brodock and Trenton Brodock & Alyssa Skerski, all of Gowen; two grandchildren, Jaxon Brodock and Rayleeanna Brodock; a brother, Pete Borstler, Jr. & Denise Sovoda of Sheridan; a step-brother, Chad & Jennifer Klunder of Howard City; a step-sister, Angela & Jason VerHulst of Wyoming; her former husband and her son’s father, Mike Brodock of Trufant; her significant other, Jerrad Gender of Elwell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Christiansen’s Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
