Michael Wiegand

Michael Howard Wiegand, age 67, of Battle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The son of Howard & LaVerne (Liefke) Wiegand, he was born on August 9, 1949 in Berwyn, Illinois. Michael was a proud US Navy Veteran, earning The National Defense Service Medal. A committal service with full military honors will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. Honoring his wishes burial will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
