Michael August Earl Snyder

June 19, 1959 - January 13, 2026

Michael August Earl Snyder, 67, loving husband, brother, father and son, of Hudsonville, passed away early Tuesday morning at Metro Health Hospital after a 7-year battle with cancer. He is at peace in the arms of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bonnie and his children Michael, Matthew, Crystal and Heather.

Mike was a 1977 graduate of Saugatuck High School and Grand Rapids Junior College in 1989 with an Associates in mechanical drafting. He worked many years at Herman Miller as a draftsman.

When not working, Mike enjoyed photography, videography, camping and traveling. Favorite books/videos are the Star Trek and Lord of the Rings series. He loved the books, shows and the music. He had a great eye for amazingly detailed art work.

The family is planning a celebration of life service on Saturday, January 31 at Hudsonville Christian School. Visitation will be at 10am, and service at 11am, followed by a light luncheon. Those attending are asked to park in the far west parking lot at the corner of Oak Street and Lincoln.
