Michael James Peters, age 74, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at home. Born on May 25, 1951 in Michigan, Michael was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force having served as a Staff Sergeant during Vietnam. During his service, he earned the National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Medal.
Graveside committal services, with United States Air Force Honors, are at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
