Michael Moore

Michael Henry Moore, aged 56, of Wayland, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January 27, 2017. The son of Stanley Moore & Barbara (Brynelsen) Johnson, he was born on April 27, 1960 in Kalamazoo. Mike was best known as the family handyman. He could fix anything and made himself available whenever needed. He took pride in his many projects and would give his last dime to anyone in need. Mike also loved watching old TV shows, reminiscing about all of his favorite memories, reading and spending time with family, especially his grandkids. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his significant other, Brenda Cook; their four children, Shannon (Warren) Beatty, Tony Moore, Amber Moore, Jessica Moore; brothers, Chris (Megan) Moore of Waterville, OH, Jeff Moore of Alma; ten grandsons; eight granddaughters; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very special aunt and uncle, Jeannette and Leonard Northrop of Wayland. A celebration of life will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday February 3, 2017 at English Hills Terrace, Continental Room, 5179 West River Dr NE, Comstock Park.
