Michael Mcmullen

Michael William McMullen, age 58, of Ada, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Spectrum Meijer Heart Center. The son of William & Kathleen (Johnston) McMullen, he was born on November 25, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael was born and raised in Cincinnati until his marriage to Maura Monahan, where they moved to Michigan and spent 34 wonderful years together. Michael was preceded in passing by his brother-in-law, Kevin Monahan. He was extremely proud of his three children, Ryan McMullen (Ada, MI), Maggie McMullen (San Francisco, CA), and Kelsey McMullen (Ada, MI); sisters, Connie (Skip) Rasper, and Missy McMullen; brother, Dale (Patty) McMullen; his loving sister-in-law, Coleen (Joel) Monahan Korelitz; brother-in-law, Terry (Maureen) Monahan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved dearly and held close to his heart. A celebration of Michael's life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 607 Sycamore St., Cincinnati, OH 45202. Memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to the National Bone Marrow Registry. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
