Michael Mays

On November 13, 2023, Michael Wayne Mays of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away unexpectedly. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Cardinel; his mother, Lee Cardinel Hayes; and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra Mays; his children, Kaitlyn Mays and Alexander Mays; his sisters, Christeen (Robin) Marsh and Nicole (Randy) LeRue; and his niece’s and nephew. Michael enjoyed all things sports, and was an avid Lions, Tigers, and U of M fan. In his free time, he loved going to movies, listening to audiobooks, and talking sports with his best friend Jeff Noble. Michael will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
