Michael Gabriz

Michael Joseph Gabriz, age 73, of Stanton, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Paul & Elayne Dorothy (Shaffrey), he was born on September 5, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A Vietnam War era veteran of the United States Air Force, he attained the rank of sergeant and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He earned his bachelor's degree from Ferris State University and retired as vice-president of Handy Works Wax Paper Company in Sparta.
