Michael Jay Bronsink, age 73, of Paris, passed away on April 9, 2021 at home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Minerd Gerrit & Alice (Mulder) Bronsink, he was born on August 16, 1947 in Grand Rapids. On July 4, 2005, at Mackinac Island, he married Linda Lee (Bolthouse) Schief, and together, they enjoyed over fifteen years of marriage.
Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army as a radio rig operator. Michael worked as a purchasing agent with Erdman Machine Company in Whitehall for nearly twenty years. He also was a semi driver and enjoyed the open road. He enjoyed fixing and rebuilding clocks, tinkering with motorcycles, and anything mechanical.
He was preceded in death by his brother Steve; and his sister Jill. Surviving are his wife, Linda; two children and five step-children, Becky & Darnell Badger, Britta & Nick Miller, Stephanie Schief, Carolyn Schief, April & Tim Norris, Lindsay Schief, and Dan & Summer Compean; eleven grandchildren, Jake, Jonah, JT, Jack, Declan, Sawyer, Ellie, Jack, Rose, Theo, and Owen; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
