Christmas evening, on her favorite holiday, at 1818 hrs. my wife, Melissa Ann (Johansen) Davidoski, age 64, shed her battered earthly vessel and all its parts and passed peacefully through the spiritual veil while surrounded by family to forever dwell with her Nordic ancestors after a decades long struggle with a debilitating disease. She was a courageous, devoted and determined life partner to the end, a daughter, wife, mother of two and grandmother to seven. She loved them all and enjoyed spoiling them with cookies, cakes and bread from her kitchen. She is preceded in death by her father, Forrest Johansen. She is survived by her mother, Hazel Johansen; brother, Bryan (Shari) Johansen; husband of 45 years, Bradd Davidoski; her twin children, Audra (Davidoski)(James) Snelling and Nicholas (Jackie) Davidoski; and seven grandchildren, Brian, Hailie, Gavin, Logan, Reagan, Colin and Nolan. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life event is being planned for a time when the weather permits an outdoor venue, details will be announced as soon as they become available.
