Maxine Sisson

Mrs. Maxine A. Sisson, age 89, of Fenwick, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Carson City Hospital. The daughter of George & Leona (Baird) Hall, she was born on Jan. 23, 1921 in Greenville. On Sept. 23, 1939, in Greenville, she married Charles Sisson. Together, they raised five children and enjoyed 45 years of marriage until Charles passed away on March 6, 1984. Maxine retired from the former Gibson Refrigerator Company after twenty years of service and enjoyed traveling across the country and the world even having made trips to Japan and Spain. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Sisson, last year; and eight brothers and sisters. Surviving are four daughters, Judy & Bob Hirones of Woodbridge, Virginia; Penny & Raymond Evans of Sheridan, Janet Yaw of Crystal, Anne & Art Parcher of Fenwick; a daughter-in-law, Janice Sisson of Fenwick; a brother-in-law, Clyde Sisson of Greenville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, with graveside committal services following at 2:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. The Rev.
