Matthew M. McIntosh, age 50, of Holland, passed away on June 9, 2024.
He was born on January 1, 1974, in Douglas, to James & LaDonna McIntosh.
Matt enjoyed working on old cars, loved art, writing poetry, and listening to music. He was a published author with a book of poems. He also won an award for a song that he wrote. Everyone he met said he was always cheerful, easy going, a nice guy and always smiling. He would give you the shirt off of his back even if he had just met you. The “woman” he only ever truly loved was the 1973 Chevelle he rebuilt.
Although Matt was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, it did not stop him from doing anything and everything. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend, he will be truly missed.
He is survived by his mother, LaDonna Greer; sister, Sally McIntosh; uncles, Wayne McFarland, Mark Dunavin and Bob Curtiss; aunts, Brenda Dunavin and Mary McFarland; cousins and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Allen McIntosh; grandparents; and baby brother, Max Dillon; uncle, Gary McFarland, JD McFarland; and Aunt, Jan McFarland.
