Matthew Conley

Matthew Edward Conley, age 58, from Grand Rapids, formerly of Westland, Michigan, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at St. Mary Mercy hospital after a short battle with lung cancer. Matthew was born August 13, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan; son of John E. Conley and Mary Agnes (Lantz) Conley. He was married to Rebecca Jane (Moore) Conley since 1982. He resided in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 2016, moving from Westland. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Mary Agnes Conley; mother-in-law, Anna Moore; and sister, Nadine. Matthew is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Rebecca; his son, Ted; daughters, Amanda (Ben) Meek, and Sarah (Nathaniel) Davis; 9 siblings, Peggy Banaszak, Tony (Jane) Conley, Paul (Shelley) Conley, Pat (Rose) Conley, Judy Dowell, Roxanne Conley, Cecilia (Art) Swanke, Pancho (Wendy) Conley, and Kay (Tony) Haines; Father-in-law, Ted Moore; sister-in-law, Cathy (Dale) Anderson, brother-in-law, Michael (Anne) Moore; 32 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; as well as many cousins and friends. Father-in-law, Ted Moore; sister-in-law, Cathy (Dale) Anderson, brother-in-law, Michael (Anne) Moore Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Charles and Helena Church, 230 Vienna St., Clio.
