Madaleen Wilbor, age 92, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, July 6, 2013 at Our Place Cares in Greenville. The daughter of Clare & Velma (Brownell) Shotwell, she was born on August 8, 1920 in Oakfield Township. Madaleen retired from American Seating in 1981 and enjoyed wintering in Zephyrhills, Florida.
She had attended the Turk Lake United Methodist Church and was a member of the Princess Chapter No. 120 Order of the Eastern Star in Greenville, which consolidated into the Doric Chapter No. 75 Order of the Eastern Star in Belding.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-mother, Ethel (Richardson) Shotwell; four husbands, Glenn Albert Johnson, Forrest Gary Cooper, Harold C. Petersen, and Ogden Wilbor; two brothers, Hoyt Shotwell and Vernon Shotwell; and two sisters, Laura Amundsen, and Helen Edgerley.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David A. & Belinda Johnson of Howard City, and Kendall Lee & Sandra Johnson of Greenville; four grandsons, Glenn & Chrissie Johnson of Howard City, Jimmie & Elizabeth Johnson of Cedar Springs, Samuel & Jamie Johnson of Howard City, and Lee & Melanie Johnson of Reed City; ten great grandchildren; eight step-children; a sister-in-law, Marie Jury of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
