Mary Kay (Stiles) Robidoux, age 68, of Lowell, went to Heaven to see all God's beauty on June 4, 2016. Mary was born on January 9, 1947, the daughter of Jack and Lila Stiles of Lowell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Robidoux; an stepson Timothy Robidoux. Surviving are a daughter, Staci & Joe Naab; two stepsons, Dale Robidoux and Gale Robidoux; two grandchildren Kaylee & Josh Swinford and Jake Clayton; one great grandchild, Aurora; two sisters, Connie & Dick Biggs and Pat DeYoung (with whom she shared an apartment and was her caregiver); several nieces and nephews, Robin & Jim Cahoon, and Paula & Tom Kamp (who both spent time caring for Aunt Mary).
She thought the simple things in life were the most important and to be thankful for the beauty that God has given each of us in our lives. Mary loved flowers especially roses; country music (Merle Haggard or Johnny Cash) "the old kind," she would say, "not the new stuff." But bass fishing was the thing she liked to do best. You see she was going bass fishing on Memorial Day weekend, that was her goal, but was back in the hospital for twelve days... she put up a tough fight. It gives us great comfort to know she is in Heaven probably catching the biggest bass she had ever seen. She taught us the great strength you need to get through tough times and to always be humble and kind. With all our love, The Mary Kay (Stiles) Robidoux Family. Special thanks to Tony McCaul and Mike DeVore for always being there; and all of Mary's neighbors and friends.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th , 2016 at Stoney Lake Park, 1200 Bowes Road, Lowell. Mary loved to fish... It is a free fishing weekend. (No license needed.) In memory of her, feel free to bring your fishing pole and tackle and enjoy one of her favorite hobbies.
