Mary Jo Koster

Mary Jo (Brown) Koster, age 71, of Belmont, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 30, 2023 with her husband by her side. She was born on April 17, 1952 in Mt Clemens, Michigan to William and Theresa (Wilde) Brown. She is survived by Karl Koster, her loving husband of 51 years, and children Kevin (Jennifer) Koster of Grandville, Michigan and Sara (Ryan) Schmidt of East Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also remembered by six grandchildren and her sisters Carol Sue (Jack) Cook and Diana (Steve) McClurken. Mary Jo was a quiet soul who loved spending time with family and friends and enjoying the simpler things in life. Pursuant to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time. The family will look to hold a celebration of life ceremony at a future date.
