Mary Boyle

February 19, 1937 — September 18, 2022

Our Dear Sweet Momma, Mary Louise Boyle went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Our hearts are broken yet we celebrate that she is now free of pain. She was born February 19, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Wesley and Bernice (Hall) Owen. She married the love of her life, Richard Allan Boyle on June 27, 1957, in Kalamazoo, MI. They celebrated 65 years of marriage together this past summer, before mom passed away. Mary Lou was an avid reader, crocheted, loved swimming, golfing and spending time with the people she loved. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard; daughters, Kathy (Carl) Goff and Chris (Frank) Montes; son, Rick (Julie) Boyle; grandsons, Colin (Samantha) and Chase Goff, Jordan and Mitchell (Lydia) Montes, and Caleb Boyle; granddaughter, Kara Boyle; great-granddaughters, Stella Montes and Natalie Brunsink; brother, Ken Owens; sister-in-law, Norma Boyle; brother-in-law, Ray Hoogenboom; cousin, Nancy; dog, Chula; and many nephews, nieces, and friends. A celebration of life will take place, Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Orangeville Township Hall, 7350 Lindsey Road, Plainwell, MI 49080, food and drinks will be provided. The family asks that no flowers be sent, however, if you would like to make a donation in Mary Lou's memory please do so to Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice), 7100 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, or The Cancer Center of Kalamazoo. We simply cannot express our gratitude enough to those who visited with Mom, sent cards, sent food and supported our family through one of the most difficult times we've ever experienced. Your hugs, love, and prayers meant the world to her as well as each of us. Thank you just doesn't seem sufficient. God sure blessed us beyond words with our precious wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, and Gigi. Gone from this earth...but Never From Our Hearts. A Life Well Lived! Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, 616-452-3006.
