Martin Heckman

Martin Lee Heckman, 69, passed away June 19, 2020. He was born on July 17, 1950; the son of Martin Heckman and Ardeth (Ashley) Brenner. Marty had a talent for drawing, and doing art work. He also had a gift for making walking canes; and he loved to watch old westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Marlene Boyle; nephew, Aaron Heckman; brother, Roger Brenner; and step-father, Marvin Brenner. Marty is survived by siblings, Deb & Robert Newbre, Pam & Jim Sikkema, and Pete & Jody Heckman; sister-in-law, Madalen Brenner; and many other nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Cancer Center Treatments of America, or the Kalamazoo Humane Society, in honor of Marty.
