Marjorie Tingley

Marjorie Tingley 1942 - 2023 Marjorie Louise Tingley, peacefully passed away after losing her battle with Alzheimer's on August 6, 2023, at the age of 81. Born on August 5, 1942, in Ionia, Michigan, Marge was the beloved daughter of Roy and Donna Winslow. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Winslow, her parents Roy & Donna Winslow and her siblings June Postle, Wayne Winslow, and Jane Myers. Also several brother and sister in laws. Marge is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert L. Tingley, and their daughters Teresa (Scott) Ruehs, & Buffy (Chad) Fleisher. She was a devoted & proud grandmother to Jordan Evans, Sadie Ruehs (Josh Post), Sydney (Jacob) Patterson, Tayvon Evans, Kylee Fleisher. Marge was also blessed with great-grandchildren Liam and Logan Post, as well as Monty Patterson. Marge is survived by her sister-in-law Gladys Heald, Liz Winslow, brother-in-law Lem Tingley and several nieces and nephews. Marge was a vibrant soul who lived life to the fullest. She had a passion for visiting the casino, spending quality time with her family, going camping, and embarking on exciting trips. Marge's adventurous spirit was evident in her readiness to pack her suitcase and jet off to Las Vegas. Her zest for life was contagious, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. After a long and successful career, Marge retired from Electrolux in Greenville, where she dedicated 37 years of her life. Her commitment and hard work were greatly appreciated by her colleagues and made a lasting impact on the company. In accordance with Marge's wishes, no services are planned at this time. Marge's legacy will forever be cherished by those who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, and her adventurous spirit. May she rest in eternal peace.
